Anti-Matter

My brother and I have this long running joke that I'm walking Anti-matter. Battery watches always stop within a month. Cell phones start glitching within two months of purchase. And my last computer started emitting smoke??? My current computer is not allowing me to upload any images on my blogs. When I attempt to do so it crashes, hence my absence of late. I have, however, been busy taking photos of random events and musings. When I am able to re-connect I promise I will post en-mass.

Hug Me!

This is the first time I've actually seen anyone hug the Tree Stump. It's been standing on Queen St  well over 15 years. It recently received a fresh coat of paint and the tree houses on top are new.

The Tempest

We've had two tornadoes pass over Toronto. The first one arrived on Sunday Aug 9th. At the time I was on
a boat attending a wedding when it approached and assaulted the City. The second occurred Thursday August
20th. The first two images were taken on the 9th and the last image was taken after the storm on the 20th.

The Million $$$ Question

The truck with the BE Logo backed into this streetcar. When hit, the streetcar tipped slightly and almost jumped off the track. It was the oddest experience, thankfully no one was injured. How does one NOT notice a streetcar?

One Armed Bandits

My Foxy Friend

This is the second time I've seen this "Furry". Mr. Fox was donning a white suit with the coolest orange tail the first time I encountered him. Since it's daylight, I guess he's being discreet.

You Again!!!

I caught the tail end of this artillery & drill demonstration at Harbourfront Centre on Canada Day.
This weekend, I discovered them again at the Distillery District. Turns out they have no home.
It appears the ongoing strike has caused a temporary eviction from Fort York. Its brilliant that
they are taking their drill to various tourists attractions within the downtown core of the City.

Interesting People

This fellow was friendlier than his birds, then again, the poor creatures had swarms of kids begging to touch them. Understandably it can be intimidating from the bird's perspective.

What's in the Basket?

This lovely lady was giving out pecan tarts to everyone...

Chill-axing

A nice way to enjoy the summer....

Baby On Board

Really? You'd put your child in that or are you just being obnoxious?

Gent on a Bike

I thought this guy looked adorable on his bike, add the sun beaming down on him...

Feeding Frenzy

A great way for children to get more in tune with nature. This little guy was so confident when feeding the pigeons, it didn't even frazzle him when they all went into a feeding frenzy.

Horoscope - July 26/9 Sagittarius (11/21 - 12/22)

The full moon may be waning, but your enthusiasm certainly isn't. You've been thinking of getting to
know a whole new group of people for some time now. Well, you've met them, and you were
absolutely right. All you have to do now is show up, smile and work your way in. They want you
there, so it won't be tough. Oh, and think about getting them together with the 'old gang'....

How perfect!!! I've been wanting to throw a party or have a game night w/ a mix of friends so they can meet...

Just Can't Get Enough

July 23, 2009 Depeche Mode performed to a sold out audience at the Molson Amphitheatre. I
grew up loving this bad, their music brought back memories of old friends and acquaintances.
The emotions I experienced were both melancholy and happy. There were a few songs I was
hoping to hear although I did get to hear many that were some of my personal favorites.
Overall it was a nostalgic show!!!
